[Kerwin at Passrider.com] Aviation Itinerary For Seattle, WA | Two Airline Employees Argue In ATL | Make Use Of This Lull
The second in the aviation itinerary series is here and Delta/Southwest employees arguing at the gate in the ATL
Hi Fellow Traveler,
Thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to read my words. It is appreciated! Here’s hoping you had an amazing week.
The UK falls backwards on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 2a. So everything will be out of whack for a week.
And remember to give yourself extra time at the U.S. airport due to the U.S. government shutdown and also airport constructions especially at LAX, JFK and IAH.

✈️ Passrider Non-Rev Travel Tip of the Week
✈️ Use the Pre-Thanksgiving Lull Wisely — but Watch the Weather
Right now, we’re in a quiet stretch before the U.S. Thanksgiving rush — flights are lighter, fares are lower, and standby chances are better. But with a hurricane churning in the Caribbean, non-revs should plan smartly and stay weather-aware.
Here’s how to make the most of it:
✅ Take advantage of the lull — this is one of the best windows for last-minute getaways before the travel madness begins.
✅ Avoid the storm zone — monitor Caribbean routes closely; even distant hurricanes can cause ripple delays across the Southeast U.S. and Gulf hubs.
✅ Keep flexibility in your routing — if Miami, San Juan, or Houston are affected, consider alternate gateways like DFW, ATL, or CLT to connect around the system.
✅ Watch for post-storm seat openings — after a hurricane passes, flights often have last-minute cancellations or open seats as travelers shift plans.
Pro move: Travel early in the week and stay nimble — weather and light loads don’t align often, so this week’s and the next week’s or two’s calm is your best chance to move freely before the holiday chaos hits.
