[Kerwin at Passrider.com] Top 10 European Cities Visited | 2nd Virgin Voyages Sailor Nights Presentation |

This week, I look at the top 10 cities in Europe that Americans visit, the second Virgin Voyages presentation, some Real ID alternatives, and a new podcast

Hi Fellow Traveler,

I hope you’re having a great week.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my words. It is appreciated!

If you’re new to the newsletter, welcome. If you’re a regular reader, thank you so much for reading my words each week :-).

To the mothers, enjoy your special day and if your mother is still around I hope you have a wonderful day with them.

I had a number of friends traveling this week that had massive delays. Be patient out there and good luck with your flights.

NEW PODCAST

There are a lot of travel tools out there these days. Some are created using AI technology. Some better than others. So I’ve started a new podcast to help you decide which ones are worth anything. You can see the first episode of this one at

ALTERNATE FORMS OF ACCEPTABLE IDS AT THE AIRPORT

With Real ID coming into effect this week, I thoughts I’d write an article about other acceptable forms of IDs. Looks like there were not too many issues as the TSA is working with travelers before they get super strict. Which makes all teh sense in the world :-).

If you traveled this past week, did you have any issues?

You can check out the article here or by clicking the image below:

Passrider Travel Tip of the Week

Use Major U.S. Gateways to Europe Strategically

When non-revving to Europe, your best bet is often to position yourself at a major transatlantic gateway—think JFK, EWR, IAD, BOS, ATL, ORD, LAX, DTW, MIA, ATL or DFW—where airlines operate multiple daily flights to key European cities like London, Paris, Rome, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam.

Here’s how to boost your chances:

  • Look for early evening departures—those often have higher no-show rates.

  • If the nonstop is full, consider connecting via a less busy European hub (like Brussels, Zurich, or Madrid) and hop to your final destination from there via a partner airline, bus or train or even a ferry.

  • Have Schengen vs. non-Schengen arrival plans ready—if you're going to places like Ireland or the UK, you'll clear immigration differently than in mainland Europe.

Bonus: Don’t forget to check U.S. carriers vs. European partners—sometimes the alliance partner has better availability as long as the ZED agreement is not too pricey!

Here’s a new video for you too; It’s from the new podcast and shows you how to use the www.10in24.com website.
