[Kerwin at Passrider.com] Virgin Voyages Sailor Nights | Accommodations and Aviation News
This week, I get a bit wordy :-) as I talk, about Virgin Voyages cruises, how to book accommodations and a page I forgot I had on the site, Aviation News, plus more...

Hi Fellow Traveler,
I hope you’re having a great week.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my words. It is appreciated!
If you’re new to the newsletter, welcome. If you’re a regular reader, thank you so much for reading my words each week :-).
Before I begin, I’d be remis if I didn’t tell you where the photo above is taken. I was in Bilbao and checked into my hotel (Ercilla) and this is the view from the roof top cafe of Bilbao. I’s almost 360 degrees. Have you been to Bilbao?
It’s a new month so, happy May 2025. There’s a special day coming up, it’s 5/5/25. I love numbers so this will be cool. It will be the same in every part of the world. O.K. enough geeking out about that :-).
Incidentally, are you an accountant or know one who is looking for accounting software? I think you should check out this piece of software that rivals its competition. It’s called Plus & Minus Accounting Software. If you like what it has to offer, please book a demo with the CEO himself. Please pass on this information to anyone you know looking for accounting software.
VIRGIN VOYAGES (CRUISES)
If you’re interested in taking a cruise on Virgin Voyages, they are having a webinar to tell you all about their cruises. I’ll be there too, but they are the ones stealing the show :-). All you have to do is click this link: https://linktr.ee/VVSalesCrew and register using my name Kerwin McKenzie and email address [email protected]; when requested, this ensures that if you make a booking I get the credit :-). And they have a special offer for you. They have two of them coming up on the 7th and the 19th of May.
Today, there are several different types of accommodations when we travel. My page at https://www.passrider.com/accommodations provides several choices. You can book with an online agency or you can book directly with the hotel or you can even book to stay in someone’s home with VRBO.
Where do you normally stay when you travel? Hit reply and let me know.

Passrider Travel Tip of the Week
Watch for Post-Holiday Drop-Off in Demand
Now that Easter is over and spring break is winding down (some places in Europe still has spring holiday break going on), this week marks the beginning of a short post-holiday travel dip—a golden window for non-rev travelers. Flights tend to be less full as families return home and business travel hasn't fully ramped back up yet.
Take advantage by:
Targeting routes that were packed just last week (think Florida, Caribbean, and parts of Europe).
Booking midweek departures, if you can (Tuesday or Wednesday are your best bet of course).
Having backups ready, but being bolder with your primary picks—you may get on flights that would’ve been impossible a week ago.
This is one of the best times in spring for flexibility, upgrades, and open seats.
Good luck!
Here’s a new video for you too; A few years back, I went to the Tibernas desert in Spain and drove a dune buggy. In this video though, I’m being driven. Who knew there was a desert in Spain :-). Not me at the time.
