Travel Deals are winding down, but some end today, December 4, 2024. Also offers from Hilton, Destination Canada and Hyatt.

Hi Fellow Traveler,
It’s time for the weekly offers…
Lots of travel deals are still out there, so I recommend having a look; most end today, December 4, 2024, at midnight.
In addition, this week I have:
Hilton is offering 2X points
Hyatt has 500 bonus points offer
Free Flights To Canada
Plus, in the Miles and Points Tips section, I talk about buying miles and points at a discount during Cyber Week as well as the standing status matches.
This week’s sponsor is Insurify Auto Insurance which has amazing package deals worldwide; be sure and take a look at what they have to offer.

Hyatt is opening new hotels and partnering with other hotels and rewarding you. So if you’re heading to Las Vegas and want to pick up some Hyatt points; consider staying at the Rio. It’s not on the Strip, but it’s about a 15-minute walk along the roadway.
Air Canada and Destination Canada is offering free flights to Canada this winter; well, a chance to win anyways. Click on the photo below for the details.

MILES/POINTS TIP OF THE WEEK
Buy Miles and Points at Discounted Rates During Cyber Week
Cyber Week isn't just about great deals on gadgets and gifts—it's also a prime opportunity to boost your miles and points balances. Some airlines and hotel loyalty programs offer special promotions during this time, allowing you to purchase miles or points at discounted rates or with significant bonuses.
How to Take Advantage:
Check for Promotions:
Airlines and Hotels: Visit the websites or subscribe to newsletters of your preferred airlines and hotel chains to discover Cyber Week deals on miles and points purchases.
Bonus Offers: Look for promotions like "Buy Miles with a 50% Bonus" or "Get 40% Off Points Purchases," etc.
Evaluate the Value:
Calculate Cost Per Mile/Point: Determine the price you're paying per mile or point to ensure it's a good deal.
Redeem for High-Value Rewards: Plan to use purchased miles or points for premium cabin flights or luxury hotel stays where you get more value per point.
Plan Your Redemption:
Check Availability: Before buying, verify that award seats or hotel rooms are available for your desired dates and destinations. This is super important.
Book Soon: Some promotions come with limited redemption periods, so be ready to book your trip.
Pro Tip: Stack Savings with Credit Card Rewards
Use a Rewards Credit Card: Pay for your miles or points purchases with a credit card that offers bonus points on travel or airfare purchases to earn even more rewards.
Activate Card Offers: Check if your credit card has any special Cyber Week offers or statement credits for travel-related spending.
Caution: Always ensure that buying miles or points makes financial sense for your travel goals. If the cost approaches or exceeds the price of buying a ticket or booking a room outright, it may not be the best option.
