Tip of the Week: Keep an Eye on Seasonal Promotions for Bonus Miles and Points

As the holiday season approaches, airlines and hotels often roll out special promotions offering bonus miles or points. These promotions can include double points for stays, bonus miles for flights, or extra rewards for shopping through their portals.

How to Take Advantage:

1. Sign Up for Promotions:

   • Airlines and Hotels: Visit the loyalty program websites of your preferred airlines and hotels to register for current promotions.

   • Email Notifications: Subscribe to their newsletters to receive alerts about new offers.

2. Plan Your Travel and Purchases:

   • Strategic Booking: Schedule flights and hotel stays during promotional periods to maximize your earnings.

   • Use Shopping Portals: Make holiday purchases through airline or hotel shopping portals to earn bonus points on gifts you already buy.

3. Read the Fine Print:

   • Understand Requirements: Some promotions may require a minimum spend or stays, so read the terms and conditions.

Pro Tip: Stack promotions whenever possible. For example, use a travel rewards credit card that offers bonus points on travel purchases and promotional bonuses from airlines or hotels. This way, you multiply your rewards without extra spending.
