12 things to do in Seattle, WA USA

Hi,

Everyone wants to go to Budapest, Hungary as 50.41% of the votes are for Budapest. Who knew? Umm…

I hope you enjoyed the information I provided in the last email. In this email, we will talk about Seattle, WA in the U.S. Pacific Northwest region as that’s the next one with the highest score.

Seattle, WA is one of my favorite U.S. cities to visit. There’s quite a bit to do and of course, it’s home to Boeing and Concorde that I flew back in 2003. Despite the rain, the views are amazing.

True Story: When I graduated college with MAS from Embry-Riddle, I sent out sixty job applications. Everyone came back saying No, except one from Microsoft. I said “No,” as I didn’t want to work for an airline and I didn’t want to move to Seattle :-). I wanted to work for an airline as I left the banking industry so I could get back into aviation.

So, after I told them “No, I checked the paper and Delta was hiring for ramp workers, so I went to work for Delta on the ramp at Washington-National Airport (DCA); I don’t think it was called Washington-Reagan National just yet. Delta said they had no positions open for me in corporate, so I started on the ramp.

The folks I worked with thought I was a plant as I had a Masters degree and I was working on the ramp, so they never talked to me for about a month when they finally believed me :-).But I digress…

Seattle, Washington is a dynamic city that boasts a rich tapestry of experiences, from its lush parks and vibrant waterfront to its prominent landmarks and innovative industries.

Whether you're gazing out from the top of the Space Needle or wandering through the historic corridors of Pike Place Market, you'll find that Seattle offers a unique blend of natural beauty, artistic expression, and technological advancements.

Each activity in the Emerald City promises to provide a glimpse into the heart of Pacific Northwest culture and ingenuity.

The following airlines serve the main airport Seattle/Tacoma International (SEA) and it’s the home for Alaska Airlines (AS):
