Hi Fellow Traveler,

For some reason, it’s Summer in the wintertime in Houston as it was 75F/24C today. Just insane. I just can’t make up my mind how to dress at all.

The trees are confused too as they just finished shedding all their leaves. I even saw a flower budding today, so they are confused as well. The rain we got last week, didn’t help either, oh well.

How are things in your neck of the woods?

Happy Chinese New Year tomorrow (February 10, 2024) if you celebrate it. It’s the year of the Wood Dragon.

I have a trip coming up tomorrow. I’m heading to Mexico to do some work with the tourism board. Something to do with festivals in Cozumel. So watch out for some live information on that. I’ll be working with another company, so look for most of my antics on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/solotraveler/.

Getting Out Of Dubai

It looks like folks are still having trouble with getting back to the U.S. from Dubai as the flights are either weight-restricted or full. Remember I wrote this post specifically to help you get back home.

Travel insurance is just as important as booking your flights and your hotel; it’s a part of the journey. it gives you peace of mind when you travel. At least, it does for me.
