[Kerwin at Passrider.com] Daylight Saving Time Arrives

Daylight Saving Time Arrives

Hi Fellow Traveler,

The azaleas are blooming, and the cars have a green hue from the pollen, so it must be springtime. I feel bad for those of you who are affected by this. Hang in there.

Is it just me or are you also tired of this springing forward and falling backward time shift? Why can’t we just pick one? Twice a year I go through this and then with travel, it’s even more annoying since some countries don’t change so it makes it difficult to keep up.

What say you?

With that said, your clocks spring forward one hour on Sunday if you’re in most of the U.S., but if you’re in the U.K., you have to wait until March 31, 2024.

Spring Break is in full swing and I saw that Miami was warning spring breakers that they won’t tolerate any bad behavior this year. So be careful out there and remember to check out the Spring Break alternatives article I wrote for you. Just click this link.

How are things in your neck of the woods?

Here’s what I have for you this week.

Recap Of My 5 Day/6 Airlines Trip

In December 2023, I did an epic trip flying six airlines over five days. It was exhaustingly fun.

Listen to my recap of the journey. Would you do it?

Getting Stuck While Traveling?

It’s getting more and more difficult to get on flights these days as they are usually very full. For some reason, people are purchasing last-minute tickets, and/or there are irregular operations. So when the flights look open, by the time they depart, you are left at the gate.

These three posts will help you with routings when you fly to Asia, Hawaii, Europe, and The Middle East.

If you need any other regions, please let me know and I’ll see if I can create it.

If you like this newsletter, please share it with at least two others. Thank you.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is just as important as booking your flights and your hotel; it’s a part of the journey. it gives you peace of mind when you travel. At least, it does for me. That’s why I have an annual policy. Consider getting travel insurance for every trip or an annual policy. you don’t need it until you need it.

Note: If you purchase travel insurance via this link, I receive a small commission. Thank you in advance.

Travel Credit Cards

If you use credit cards, then consider getting a card that gives you points for every dollar you spend. This will ensure that you can travel almost for free when you are ready.

Here are a few travel offers that came to my mailbox.

Note: I will receive points as a commission if you apply for and is approved for any of these cards. Thank you in advance.

Chase IHG MasterCard Offer
One way to get hotel points is to get one of these massive credit card offers. Chase has a current offer for 4 FREE nights; this is pretty epic as it's usually about 40K+/night if you stay in popular cities. This is a great deal and you should at least check it out. I also get some miles if you get a card, so we both could win.
