[Kerwin at Passrider.com] How to Explore The Cancun Area

How to Explore The Cancun Area As A Solo Traveler

Sponsored by

Hi Fellow Traveler,

It’s been a fun week.

I spent most of it with a friend who had a pretty major operation. Thankfully, all went well.

Life is short. Life Is Fragile. Live It.

How is the time change treating you? I’m not happy about it at all. It takes me a few weeks to adjust. I had an early morning flight and it was dark when I left the house. The day before, it was light out at the same time.

If you’re non-revving over the next month, it will be quite difficult. Here are some quick tips:

  1. Have multiple backup plans

  2. Know your airline’s network. This will help you to find less frequented cities that can get you where you need to go

  3. Be cognizant that you can use buses and trains whenever it makes sense

  4. Be patient

  5. Be courteous to fellow non-revs

  6. Expect the unexpected, so you can deal with it when it arises

  7. Read the article I wrote on alternative things to do during Spring Break. You can find it here.

How are things in your neck of the woods?

Here’s what I have for you this week.

Buffett vs Banksy: The surprising winner

What’s one market that Warren Buffet probably hasn’t considered – even though its prices outpaced shares of his very own Berkshire Hathaway – growing at an annualized rate of 14.4% from 2007 to June 2023? The market for Banksy’s art.

That's right, Banksy. And now, for the first time, everyday investors are getting in on the action. Thanks to Masterworks, the award-winning platform for investing in blue-chip art. Masterworks enables anyone to invest in paintings by artists like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso for just a fraction of the cost. When Masterworks sells a painting, investors can get a return.

All of their offerings are limited, and shares can sell out in just minutes, but readers can skip the waitlist to join with this exclusive link

Past performance is not indicative of future returns, investing involves risk. See disclosures masterworks.com/cd.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is just as important as booking your flights and your hotel; it’s a part of the journey. it gives you peace of mind when you travel. At least, it does for me. That’s why I have an annual policy. Consider getting travel insurance for every trip or an annual policy. you don’t need it until you need it.

Note: If you purchase travel insurance via this link, I receive a small commission. Thank you in advance.

Travel Credit Cards

If you use credit cards, then consider getting a card that gives you points for every dollar you spend. This will ensure that you can travel almost for free when you are ready.

Here are a few travel offers that came to my mailbox.

Note: I will receive points as a commission if you apply for and is approved for any of these cards. Thank you in advance.

Chase IHG MasterCard Offer
One way to get hotel points is to get one of these massive credit card offers. Chase has a current offer for 4 FREE nights; this is pretty epic as it's usually about 40K+/night if you stay in popular cities. This is a great deal and you should at least check it out. I also get some miles if you get a card, so we both could win.
