Hi Fellow Traveler,

Thank you all for your amazing support. I do appreciate it.

Another quick week has passed by and it’s been quiet here at blogging central :-0.

But I’ve been writing up a storm with an article on taking a flight that’s a bus, Brazilian visas and you voted to have Paris as the next destination for which you want to have 100+ things for free, so I’m still working on that. In case you missed the first two, here they are:

Plus the Travel calendar has many updates below, so be sure and check it out. Scroll all the way through and vote and tell me how you like the newsletter.

It’s National Park Service Week starting tomorrow, April 20, so you can visit some Parks for free! Check out my story here for details. I’ve even included the airlines serving the airports nearest to the parks:

Thinking of booking an adults-only cruise, head over to Virgin Voyages.

This Week’s Aviation/Airline News

Here are some newsworthy items in aviation this week. It would seem like every day, something is happening to an airplane:

I’ve taken the Continental Express bus service from Allentown, PA to Newark before. Now there are three U.S. airlines that provide bus service. Can you guess them?

Update: Brazilian Visa For U.S. Citizens

O.K., the Brazilian visa situation keeps changing, similar to the ETA situation for U.S. citizens traveling to select European countries in the future.

The latest for Brazil is that now it’s delayed until April 10, 2025, which is good as it means you won’t need a visa to travel to Brazil until then. You can do the visa online at https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/. The cost will be $80.90.

There are additional requirements, so stay tuned as they may change, and ensure you follow all the requirements on their website when applying for a visa.

These new requirements also apply to Australians and Canadians.

So, I think you should get to Brazil between now and April 9, 2025, so you don’t have to get a visa ;-).

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is just as important as booking your flights and your hotel; it’s a part of the journey. it gives you peace of mind when you travel. At least, it does for me. That’s why I have an annual policy. Consider getting travel insurance for every trip or an annual policy. you don’t need it until you need it.

Travel Credit Cards

If you use credit cards, then consider getting a card that gives you points for every dollar you spend. This will ensure that you can travel almost for free when you are ready.

Here are a few travel offers that came to my mailbox.

Note: I will receive points as a commission if you apply for and is approved for any of these cards. Thank you in advance.

Chase IHG MasterCard Offer
One way to get hotel points is to get one of these massive credit card offers. Chase has a current offer for 4 FREE nights; this is pretty epic as it's usually about 40K+/night if you stay in popular cities. This is a great deal and you should at least check it out. I also get some miles if you get a card, so we both could win.
