Hi Fellow Traveler,

I had quite the time in Savannah, GA, mostly as it’s a large shipping port and I got to see some gigantic cargo ships going up and down the Savannah River. It’s pretty amazing how big they are when viewed up close.

I flew in on American and out on Delta. I was very disappointed in Delta though.

From Savannah to Atlanta, there was no inflight service and they didn’t even announce that there was no service. Plus that particular 737-800 had the First Class divider removed and it looked so odd to see that. I felt like I was on a low-cost carrier.

Now the Atlanta to Houston portion of the trip was an A321 with seatback videos, so it was a much better experience and they had a snack service. but my chair table was nasty as it had not been cleaned before the flight.

If you're into Horse Racing, tomorrow, Saturday is the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby. I wanted to attend, but the tickets were priced out of the reach of the average human! So it's a no-go.

And here is a video from my plane spotting before leaving for Savannah. This is a Singapore Airlines A350 getting beaten up by the wind…
