Spring Break Is Here

Sponsored by

Hi Fellow Traveler,

If you’re new to the newsletter, welcome. If you are a regular, thanks for your continued support.

I hope you had a good week. We seem to be good with the weather so far here in Houston this week. Chilly mornings and hotter evenings.

I’m working on an incentive for you if you share this newsletter with your friends and those who travel; I’m almost done. It’s all new, so hopefully it will work :-).

How are things in your neck of the woods?

Here’s what I have for you this week.

Spring Break

It’s already started for some schools, but kicks in fully the first week of March and runs until mid-April. What does this mean for you if you’re flying space available? Less space, so you have to be strategic. If you’re not flying space available it means very full flights and tons of young ones in the airport. So remember to pack your patience and earbuds :-).

I’ve dusted off my Spring Break Article for you just in time, it links to a page that keeps track of all the Spring Breaks for the majority of colleges in the U.S. as well as gives you some ideas for alternate things to do other than flying somewhere.

Take a look:

Book Amazing Hotels

The hotel booking platform where every trip helps pay for the next. Safara curates the world's best hotels and rewards you with cashback on every booking.

From your first Safara booking, you start earning cashback to put towards future trips. And, the more you travel with Safara, the more you earn.

Cashback can be used on Safara bookings worldwide, with no restrictions. It’s available instantly — so use it as you earn it, or let the savings add up to pay for the trip of a lifetime.

Getting Out Of Hawaii Back To The U.S.

As Spring Break approaches, here’s a report on how to get back to the U.S./Canada if you decide to head over to Hawaii.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is just as important as booking your flights and your hotel; it’s a part of the journey. it gives you peace of mind when you travel. At least, it does for me. That’s why I have an annual policy. Consider getting travel insurance for every trip or an annual policy. you don’t need it until you need it.

Note: If you purchase travel insurance via this link, I receive a small commission. Thank you in advance.

Travel Credit Cards

If you use credit cards, then consider getting a card that gives you points for every dollar you spend. This will ensure that you can travel almost for free when you are ready.

Here are a few travel offers that came to my mailbox.

Note: I will receive points as a commission if you apply for and is approved for any of these cards. Thank you in advance.

Chase IHG MasterCard Offer
One way to get hotel points is to get one of these massive credit card offers. Chase has a current offer for 4 FREE nights; this is pretty epic as it's usually about 40K+/night if you stay in popular cities. This is a great deal and you should at least check it out. I also get some miles if you get a card, so we both could win.
