This week, I had an uninvited guest, her name is Beryl. She decided to create havoc all the way from the Caribbean.

She messed around with the power, the Internet, the trees, and the roads. And she didn’t even clean up after she left; it’s like a bad AirBnb guest. Can I send her the cleaning bill?

In all seriousness though, I’m glad I survived the hurricane and the damage wasn’t more than it was. Hopefully, things will return to normal soon.

If you were affected and don’t have phone service, I encourage you to contact the phone company (utility companies) as they won’t automatically give you credit for the outage.

A friend of mine was on holiday and got sick; unfortunately, she did not have any form of travel insurance. So she had to pay out of pocket and have a doctor and nurse come to her house to get treatment. Four days later she was feeling better and ready to fly home to get further treatment.
