Hi Fellow Traveler,

I hope you had a great week!

Please support the newsletter partner, by checking out their ads. This helps to keep all this work going for you. This week, it’s Active Wear Laundry Detergent.

The aviation scene is pretty quiet this week thankfully. There was way too much excitement last week. Everyone seems to be good, except Delta which is just about cleaned up after the IT outage.

Air France and Delta are not quite happy about how the Olympics is going in terms of bookings. That means the flights are not full and hotels can be had in Paris for not too much.

I have four articles about Paris here in case you decide to go:

Remember that my friends Ian and Tonya over at World Footprints have put together a trip to Egypt later this year. If you’ve not been to Egypt, this is an excellent way to see it in style.

If you’d like to go on, you should, check out the trip they’ve put together here.

Here's what I got this week.

Please remember that I do update the entire newsletter each week, so scroll down and check it out, in its entirety.

I wrote an article about how to use the libraries in the cities you visit; libraries are a hidden gem and are very accessible.

I also did the Travel Talk video about my Spirit canceled flight as well.

And, two new aviation news headlines, plus I did a new podcast episode.

Remember that if you want me to cover a city, just hit reply and let me know and please use the share links to share this newsletter; with only two shares you’ll get my A to Z Airport Guide; featuring 26 airports worldwide.

How are things in your neck of the woods?

Ever Wondered Why Your Gym Clothes Never Smell 100% Clean?

It’s because activewear uses tightly woven synthetic fabrics to wick away sweat while you workout.

Unfortunately, traditional detergents use fabric softeners that can coat over sweat, dead skin, & bacteria trapping them inside these fabrics.

So once your body starts heating up… the smell inevitably returns.

ACTIVE solves this by using a scientifically formulated, all natural enzyme blend to break down these trapped contaminants once and for all!

Finally a solution to your smelly Activewear!

  1. Always Be Prepared: Have multiple plans from A to Z, and be ready for layovers and connections. Dress business casual, especially when flying overseas.

  2. Pack Smart: Travel light to avoid checking bags, which saves time and reduces the risk of lost luggage.

  3. Check-In Early: Arriving at the airport early can improve your chances of getting on the flight and gives you some lounge time to relax.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

A friend of mine was on holiday and got sick; unfortunately, she did not have any form of travel insurance. So she had to pay out of pocket and have a doctor and nurse come to her house to get treatment. Four days later she was feeling better and ready to fly home to get further treatment.

I say this to say that travel insurance is just as important as booking your flights and your hotel; it’s a part of the journey. it gives you peace of mind when you travel. At least, it does for me. That’s why I have an annual policy. Consider getting travel insurance for every trip or an annual policy. you don’t need it until you need it.

Note: If you purchase travel insurance via this link, I receive a small commission. Thank you in advance.

TRAVEL CREDIT CARD OFFERS

If you use credit cards, then consider getting a card that gives you points for every dollar you spend. This will ensure that you can travel almost for free when you are ready.

Here are a few travel offers that came to my mailbox.

Note: I will receive points as a commission if you apply for and is approved for any of these cards. Thank you in advance.
