Jet Fuel prices have increased over the last few weeks, so you should be aware of this when planning your travels. This article from Business Insider gives you a good summary of European carriers’ issues: https://www.businessinsider.com/airlines-cancel-flights-rising-jet-fuel-prices-shortage-iran-2026-4. Also, IATA monitors the prices at https://www.iata.org/en/publications/economics/fuel-monitor/.

Also, watch out for news on Spirit Airlines, as they are having severe financial issues. If they go out of business, the other airlines will be full of those passengers buying new tickets to get home.

What does all this mean for you? As airlines reduce schedules to manage fuel issues, there may be fewer flights than usual over the next few weeks. So keep a close eye on the loads as you travel. I’ll keep you posted of any cancellations I’m aware of.

Rebuild St. Elizabeth Project

Sadly, donations have slowed, so please dig deep and help me help my community. I’m starting to distribute the first $997 I’ve received (fees were deducted from the $1,065). Looks like we will get a printer for the school and some tarp for the church (until we get more money to repair the roof properly) and see what we can do to help one family. The church had to remove the benches to a different location so they don’t get wet and rot.
