Hi {{Name|Fellow Traveler}},

I hope you had a good week. Thank you for reading my work each week. It’s both Easter and Passover. Whichever one you celebrate I hope you have an enjoyable time.

Easter in Jamaica is a HUGE deal. Typically nothing happens from Holy Thursday to Easter Monday. The country is quite religious, so there are church services on Good Friday (today) and on Sunday, Easter Sunday, and then Monday is also a Holiday too; Easter Monday. Fried fish is the meal of choice and every household has Easter bun and cheese (cheddar).

What’s your Easter ritual?

With an expert local leader out front and a small group of like-minded travellers by your side, this trip gives you a unique insight into Peru’s culture and traditions.

Part of Intrepid’s Women’s expedition range, this eight-day adventure has been thoughtfully designed to support local women in tourism while delivering immersive experiences specifically for women travellers.

You’ll traverse the lesser-known Chinchero to Urquillos trail in the Peruvian Andes alongside an all-female crew, spend time in an Andean village learning about daily life, take part in a traditional textile workshop led by local women and experience a spiritual cleansing ritual guided by a female shaman.

The very first time I non-revved to Europe I slept in the airport. This was far from the plan. But as fate would have it, I flew on the first flight after the agreement between Delta and Virgin to Heathrow.

You can click here to get right to it, if you don’t want to read my story ;-)

‘Lovely’ smoking flight; yup, the early ‘90s was a doozy…

Once in London-Heathrow, my first time to the UK and Europe, I found out the return flight was full. With zero backup plans, I quickly figured it out and got a ticket on bmi british midland and flew to Paris as the Delta flight back the next day was wide open.

With no money, wearing a suit and no where to stay, I entered the country (second country in Europe ;-)) and hung out in Terminal 1. I saw a gentleman cleaning the airport and in my broken high school French, we communicated and he told me there’s a quiet corner downstairs and I could hang out there. I did. I was the happiest camper the next morning when I saw that Delta tail pass by the window.

I got myself together and checked in, got a seat and was on my way across the Atlantic.

This is a long way to tell you that I launched a new page in beta that will tell you which airports have sleep/rest facilities. Check it out at https://www.passrider.com/airport-sleep-finder/. Hit reply to tell me what you think, etc.
